The Newagen Seaside Inn
has a rich history of delighted brides and grooms, due in part to
our unique and spectacular location at the seaward tip of Southport
Island. Our beautiful inn and grounds can accommodate groups of
up to 225 guests. You may opt for a formal, traditional sit down
dinner, or a relaxed, casual lobster bake in honor of your coastal
ceremony.
Wedding ceremonies, rehearsal dinners and bridal luncheons have
been held in many locations on our grounds including:
- On our expansive lawn or ocean-side deck
- In a delightfully decorated gazebo
- Under an elegant, festive tent
- At Sunset Rock with nature's perfect backdrop
- In sunlit indoor spaces with views of the sea islands
The Inn caters all food and beverages (except cakes). The cost
of food is on a per person basis and varies according to menu
choice. Alcohol is billed according to consumption. For more information,

how utterly, exhilaratingly perfect our daughter's wedding was.
They were enthralled not only by the ambiance, delicious food and
friendly, attentive service, but also by the gorgeous setting: a
green lawn overlooking the seaside rocks, tidal pools and fir trees;
and beyond, the blue sea sparkling in the sun. In the background,
the lovely and stately white Inn, with its green shutters and comfortable
open porch. It created such a magical effect, people lingered long
after the bride and groom had left, watching the sun set majestically
